Electrical Products
Electrical products are basically devices, gadget or appliances that are powered by electricity.
In other words they must be plugged into an electrical outlet or wired directly to an electrical source in order to function.
Since their first appearance the shape and performance of these items has changed numerous times over the years. Many have become portable (battery operated), compact or energy efficient.
A few of the items listed below were invented to enhance operation.
These are included as they are interesting and also play a significant role.
The Year They First Appeared
1843 – Fax machine
1889 – Electric sewing machine
1901 – Electric hearing aid, electric powered vacuum cleaner, electric typewriter
1902 – Air conditioner prototype, electric hairdryer
1904 – Harvey Hubbell patents the plug and socket eliminating the need for directly wiring small electrical appliances into a buildings power source

The invention of these items and many others changed everyday life.
However, this also led to an ever-increasing demand for electricity.
The goal now is to ease the demand on the electrical supply system.
Whether it is through the everyday use of electricity itself, the use of energy efficient devices or seeking an alternate solution.
