Question:
Are there any incentives from the province of New Brunswick for installing a pellet stove?

Answer:
Visit the Efficiency NB website at: www.efficiencynb.ca
There are some incentives available for installing an EPA rated wood burning appliance.
The homeowner may have to be part of the Home Upgrades Program to qualify.
Check out the website or call Efficiency NB at their toll free number (1-866-643-8833) for specific information.

Question:
I just installed a pool with solar panels on the roof to heat the pool, is any funding available and how do I go about it?

Answer:
The Ontario government is currently offering a refund of the provincial retail sales tax on the purchase of residential solar systems as well as some other alternative energy systems.
It states that this is for the purchase of residential solar, or any expansion or upgrade to existing systems installed in a residential premises until January 1, 2010.
For more information, to determine if your system is eligible, contact the nearest Ontario Ministry of Finance Tax Office. It is listed in the blue pages of your phone book under Taxes – Provincial Retail Sales Tax.
